One of the most important tools in The Gaia Method is the conscious use of and awareness on the breath.
The breath alone can lead to releases of much stored energy and open up blockages in the body. When using breath actively in a session, it helps the receiver to go deeper in to a process and open up even more. The application of conscious breath into what needs to be seen or felt increase the level of release or insight.
In the Gaia Method we have attention on observing the breath pattern of the receiver. In combination with knowledge about how different breathing styles affects tension in the body – we will know a lot about what is going on inside a specific body regarding tension and blockages.
The Gaia Method focus on supporting breathing in ways that will enhance working with a process.
There are many ways to work with the breath. In The Gaia Method we use many forms of breath techniques. Each with a different focus. However, they all address one of 2 intentions;
To open up to parts of our subconscious brain we can’t access from normal day-consciousness – to be able to access and /or release suppressed emotions, experiences and patterns, as a result of the suppressed unresolved experiences.
To affect the Autonomous Nervous System to create calmness, relaxation, safety and grounding. This is very important if the fight/flight/freeze instincts are activated.
